After choosing a suitable song the song will be added to the story and there will be an option to choose the duration of the song. You can move the white rectangular cursor or click on the duration reading icon to choose the duration of the song. In addition to that, you can add lyrics or thumbnails of the song in the story.
4. Go to Music Option
If you prefer to add music to a video, you will have to choose the song before recording the video so that it will play in the background of your video. In this case, the music option is below the record button.
5. Publish
Save your story and share it with your followers.
In addition to music, Instagram has also revealed that it is adding a new feature to its stories- questions. The procedure is the same as if you want to add music to your Instagram Stories but instead of selecting MUSIC, you will have to choose the QUESTIONS icon so that your followers can communicate with you.

Search and choose a song you prefer to add.
4. Choose Clip Duration
After choosing a suitable song the song will be added to the story and there will be an option to choose the duration of the song. You can move the white rectangular cursor or click on the duration reading icon to choose the duration of the song. Select the 15 seconds of audio you want. In addition to that, you can add lyrics or thumbnails of the song in the reel to use
5. Publish
Record your video and post it.
After publishing the Instagram reel with music you can find the video in your account feed.
